The Village :
 Calaserena Village is a 4-star village, directly on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, between Cagliari and Villasimius in the municipality of Maracalagonis, in southern Sardinia, 30 km from Cagliari airport. The village is immersed in thick vegetation and in a suggestive poplar, eucalyptus and tamarisk forest, which connects it to the sea.

Sea and Beach :
Calaserena Village is a 4-star village, directly on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the island, between Cagliari and Villasimius in the municipality of Maracalagonis, in southern Sardinia, 30 km from Cagliari airport. The village is immersed in thick vegetation and in a suggestive poplar, eucalyptus and tamarisk forest, which connects it to the sea. It rises directly on the beach, on a clear and crystalline sea. The wide sandy beach is private and has umbrellas, sunbeds and deck chairs, changing rooms and showers, bar, assistance and information point. Each family is assigned an umbrella with a sun bed and a deck chair. The seabed is sandy and in the first strip suitable for bathing children. At guests' disposal sailing and windsurfing boats (except during course times), canoes, beach volleyball and beach tennis courts, as well as participation in collective sailing and windsurfing courses. In addition, sea lovers can take advantage of the services of the Bluserena SeaSport Club (some for a fee) and the Dive Center located inside the village (for a fee).

The Rooms :
350 rooms, located on two and three floors, divided into Classic, Premium and Comfort rooms. The Classic Rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, TV, mini fridge, safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The Premium Rooms in addition also have an espresso machine, Wi-Fi connection, 32-inch TV, rental of a beach towel per person (starting from 3 years) with a midweek change (additional washes are subject to charges). The Comfort rooms, in addition to the Premium rooms, include Sky, open mini bar (water, 2 drinks and beer), rental of a beach towel per person (from 3 years) with daily change, table reserved for family in the room restaurant, beach umbrella in the central area. The rooms on the ground floor have a garden, those on the first and second floors have a balcony (except for some rooms on the 1st floor). On request possibility of connecting rooms and rooms for the disabled.

Distances in the Village : The rooms are on average 450 meters from the sea. The village is directly on the beach and there are no interposed roads. There are no internal shuttles. Cycling is not allowed inside the village; Movement by any motorized or electric means of transport is prohibited

Restaurants and Bars :
Two air-conditioned restaurant rooms with tables for 8/9 people, therefore often in the company of other Guests (for those who choose the Comfort Room, accommodation is in a reserved table). Breakfast, lunch and dinner are with buffet service and show-cooking in the central restaurant. The Calaserena Village offers, in addition to the central restaurant, the Il Gusto restaurant with tables reserved for families, open for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 11/6 to 09/15 (subject to limited availability, possibly with shifts spread over several time slots , can be booked in the village on the previous day).
NEW 2018: The Garden, shaded area outside the central restaurant with a table reserved for the family. The service is free and to be booked for the entire period of stay, both lunch and dinner. In case of adverse weather conditions the accommodation will be in the central restaurant, in the second shift. Two bars are available for guests, in the square and on the beach.
 
Food Intolerances :
Bluserena pays particular attention to the well-being of its guests both in the offer and in the correct information on allergens. Although we cannot offer personalized menus prepared for individual guests in any case, it guarantees the following: Gluten. At the main restaurant, a cold cut and packaged basic products (tarts, snacks and rusks) are available for breakfast, for lunch and dinner at least a first course, a second course and a dessert made with gluten-free ingredients (dishes however prepared in a unique kitchen , therefore with possible contamination). Lactose and eggs. At the main restaurant, lactose-free packaged basic products (snacks, rusks, yogurt and milk; milk also available at the main bar) are available for breakfast, at least one first course, one second course, one cold cut, one cheese and a lactose- or egg-free dessert.
